What methylene blue actually does

Energy does not come from caffeine. It comes from mitochondria, the small engines inside nearly every cell in your body. Here is the short version of how that works and where methylene blue fits.

Step one

Your cells run on ATP

Mitochondria convert what you eat and breathe into ATP, the fuel your brain and muscles actually spend. Thinking clearly is an energy-expensive activity.

Step two

That process slows with age

ATP production depends on passing electrons down a chain. That transfer becomes less efficient over time, which is why the same day costs you more than it used to.

Step three

Methylene blue carries electrons

It has been studied for over a century for its role as an electron cycler, supporting the transfer that keeps ATP production moving. It supports the engine instead of revving it.

What is in the bottle, and what is not

FocusBlu Methylene Blue 1% USP Grade, 1 fl oz dropper bottle with carton

FocusBlu Methylene Blue 1%

A USP Grade 1% methylene blue solution in a base of USP water and USP glycerin, with liposomal vitamin C and a touch of stevia. Five ingredients, and that is the whole bottle. You add it to the beverage of your choice each morning, starting at five drops and building up over your first month, which supports the mitochondria that produce the energy your brain and body run on. This is support at the cellular level, not a stimulant sitting on top of a tired system.

  • 1 fl oz dropper bottle, about a 30 day supply at the full serving
  • Five drops to start, building up over your first month
  • Add it to the beverage of your choice, early in your day
  • Five days on, two days off

The founders

The people behind the bottle.

FocusBlu is a family business in Frisco, Texas. Two people, one product, and a standard we are willing to publish.

Rachel Boston, co founder of FocusBlu

Rachel Boston

Co founder, sales and marketing

Thirty five years in real estate taught Rachel that trust is the entire business. She could not find a methylene blue she trusted enough to take every day, so she built one and published the testing behind it.

Caleb Babb, co founder of FocusBlu

Caleb Babb

Co founder, research and product formulation

Caleb formulates the product. He came up in regulated manufacturing as a grower, processor and distributor working with United States laboratories on testing and quality standards, and he kept FocusBlu to five ingredients on purpose. He is also a Marine Corps veteran, which is why the Camp Hope partnership is personal here.
